Revit Electrical (Beginner)

Revit Electrical (Beginner) is designed for electrical engineering students, freshers, and entry-level professionals who want to learn the fundamentals of electrical BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit. This course introduces learners to core electrical systems modeling without moving into electrical design calculations or advanced coordination.

The training focuses on building a strong foundation in electrical BIM workflows, aligned with how electrical models are developed and documented in professional AEC projects.

Candidates who successfully clears (achieving more than 85%) the AEODC evaluation exam post training may be offered an opportunity to work with AEODC on live BIM projects as an Intern and/or Contract basis with possibility of converting to full time.

Freshers may be selected for a structured internship program, where they will collaborate with AEODC’s technical teams and gain hands-on project experience.
Experienced professionals may be considered for contract-based or full-time positions, subject to performance, skill alignment, and project requirements.

All opportunities are performance-driven and aligned with AEODC’s quality standards and business needs

Build a Strong Electrical BIM Foundation with Revit Electrical Fundamentals

Electrical teams use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create coordinated electrical models that support layout planning, coordination, and construction documentation. Autodesk Revit Electrical allows users to develop intelligent electrical systems where lighting, power, and low-voltage components are interconnected through circuits and panels.

In this beginner-level course, learners gain practical exposure to:

• BIM fundamentals and Revit Electrical interface

• Project setup, levels, grids, and electrical settings

• Understanding electrical systems and circuit concepts

• Placement of lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, and power outlets

• Creation of basic lighting and power circuits

• Introduction to electrical panels and circuit assignment

• Creation of electrical plans, sections, and 3D views

• Electrical annotations, tags, and dimensions

• View management, sheets, and basic electrical schedules

• Understanding architectural and structural coordination basics

Learn Revit Electrical Step-by-Step with AEODC

At AEODC, the Revit Electrical Beginner Course is structured to ensure a clear and progressive learning path for learners new to electrical BIM. Training starts with BIM and electrical modeling fundamentals and gradually advances toward basic electrical layout and documentation workflows.

Learners work on simple residential and small commercial electrical layouts, enabling them to create coordination-ready electrical models without entering load calculations or code compliance.
